Nestled in Kumaon Himalayas, at a height of 7500ft, Pinewood Cliff is a quiet and picturesque campsite offering a clear 180° view of the Himalayan Peaks, with Nanda Devi standing tall. PineWood Cliff is located approximately 375 km from Delhi and is in close proximity from many excellent tourist destinations such as Ranikhet, Almora, Nainital, Jim Corbett Park, etc. Weather at Pinewood Cliff campus is cool even in Summer with temperatures ranging from 15° to 26° Celsius.

Destination / Property USP

Our campsite is in a wilderness setting. That means, accommodation is clean and comfortable but not luxurious. Our staff is friendly and helpful and will go out of the way to make you feel at ease.
Accomodation is in tents. Cots are provided for your comfort. There is a separate toilet complex with regular fittings and running water and is completely hygienic.
We have a kitchen where hot, nutritious & delicious meals are prepared for you. Our staff may be able to accommodate some special requests with prior notice depending on availability of ingredients & time.

Trained, experienced & very friendly staff

How To Get There (from Delhi):

Drive up to Sitlakhet (approx 375km) via Ranikhet – 9 to 11 hrs depending on the traffic.
Take an overnight train to Kathgodam, followed by a 3hr ride up to campus

Do-It-Yourself Camping – Trek with a map & compass into the wilderness for a Day out. Pitch your tent & cook your own food!

Rock-Climbing – Trek to a rock face & try your hands at rock climbing with 100% safe equipment. You may be surprised at what you can accomplish!

Rapelling – Experience the thrill of coming down a steep rock face. It’s WOW!

Mountain Biking – If you think you are an expert on flat terrain, try out real mountain biking. It’s an exhilarating experience!

Temple visit – Visit a 400yr old temple that is full of bells.

Archery, Rifle Shooting – The fun never ends at our campsite. Try your hands at being a marksman

Package of 3 day/2 night on Twin Sharing basis with 6 buffet meals and evening snacks with tea. Also includes any 2 activities (extra charges for Mountain Biking)
