PINEWOOD CLIFF- Sitlakhet

Nestled at a height of 7000 ft on the 80 acres Stifles estate, the campus is surrounded by lush orchards, pine, oak and deodar forests. Sitlakhet has a 700 year old temple and offers spectacular views of the Himalayan mountain range.

Route: Delhi - Kathgodam - Ranikhet - Siltakhet

Travel Options:

1. Overnite train from Delhi to Kathgodam (D 1040 pm, A 0530 am). Kathgodam to Camp by road (approx 4 hours).

2. By Road from Delhi to Camp (approx 10 hours)

JUNGLE OUTBACK - Yercaud

Located in Orchardale Estate at an altitude of 5100 ft amidst coffee plantations and orange trees. The estate has thick foliage and maximum rainfall is about 65-70 mm. The place is famous for its coffee and pepper.

Route: Bangalore/Chennai - Salem - Yercaud

Travel Options:

1. Morning train from Bangalore/ Chennai to Salem (D 0615 am, A 1015 am). Salem to Camp by road (approx 2 hrs)

2. By road from Bangalore to Camp (approx 7hours). By road from Chennai to Camp (approx 9 hours)

PINE FOREST TRAILS - Junga

Located at the scenic Village Maheshu in Junga Tehsil, at an altitude of about 5100 ft perched on a ridge. Dense Pine tree forest surrounds the campsite. The camp is spread across terraced land. It is perched on a ridge which gradually climbs into thick pine and oak trees and overlooks the gorge formed by river Ashwini.

Route: Delhi - Chandigarh - Kakla - Kandaghat - Junga

Travel Options:

1. Overnite train from Delhi to Kalka (D 0740pm, A 1240 pm). Kalka to Camp by road (approx 3 hours).

2. By Road from Delhi to Camp (approx 7 hours)

GREEN RIVER VALLEY - Sai Ropa

On the banks of river Tirthan at Sai Ropa, bordering the Great Himalayan National Park, Tirthan is renowned for its medicinal herbs and plants. The campus is in a valley facing the river and a wood and stone structure built in the local style forms its central hub.

Route: Delhi - Kiratpur - Aut - Tirthan Valley.

1. Overnite train from Delhi to Anandpur Sahib (D 1020 pm, A 0600 am). Anandpur Sahib to Camp by road (approx 6 hrs)

2. By road from Delhi to Camp (approx 14 hours)

3. By air to Kulu (currently 2 flights in the morning. Please check schedule with Airlines). By road from Airport to Camp (approx 1.5 hours)

ROOM ON THE ROOF - Chakrata

Camp Room-on-the-Roof is nestled in a valley with a spectacular view of the Doon Valley with views stretching as far as Dehradun and Mussoorie. This camp is located at an altitude of 1850 m (6100 ft) and this ensures a cool and comfortable climate all year round. The camp is located in Uttarakhand state and is easily approachable from Delhi (8 hrs drive) or is just a short 2 hr drive from Dehradun or a 3 hrs drive from Saharanpur.

Route: Delhi - Saharanpur - Vikas Nagar - Chakrata

1. Overnite train from Delhi to Pathankot (D 0830 pm, A 0335 am). Pathankot to Camp by road (approx 3 hours).

2. By Road from Delhi to Camp (approx 11 hours)

SOARING EAGLE PEAKS - Dharmashala

Located in the upper reaches of the Kangra Valley and is surrounded by dense coniferous forest consisting mainly of stately Deodars. Our camp is located in small village called Mohal Tou has about 10-15 houses and major income is from farming, at an altitude of 5000 ft.

Route: Delhi - Chandhighar - Kiratpur - Kangra - Dharamshala
